Calm Clearing

The Calm Clearing is the first location in the new Whisker Woods Region. You only need to be a Journeyman to get there, so it's a great detour for newer players. To get to it, you'd need a Whisker Woods Clearing Map Piece. Trap a Granite Mouse at the Harbour.

    I checked my trap and found that I had caught a mouse! I caught a 6 oz. Granite mouse from the Harbour worth 280 points and 531 gold.

    The mouse also dropped the following loot:
    1 whisker woods clearing map piece

    Here? You can catch Moosker (moose), Wiggler (Caterpillar), frog, sylvan (leafy thing), chameleon, bear, foxy (fox), shaman, treant (tree), elven princess, eagle-owl, cyclops. The Great Gnarled Tree has fairy, tiger, bat, nomad, centaur. Lagoon has Water Nymph, Troll, Harpy, and Goblin mice. Hope this helps. (These are only the ones that are only found here, minus the bat, which fits the rest of them.)

    How long were you hunting in the Calm Clearing before catching the cyclops? Also what cheese where you hunting with?

    Calm Clearing is obviously better than Mountain but.... You still need to hunt at Mountain to get the burroughs laboratory map from the Ninja mouse in Mountain.

    Trying to catch the Juliyes Mouse here. Despite having a strong trap (6000+ power) and loads of luck (22) missed already 5 times.
