The game developers have dropped a hint that the Moon Cheese is especially effective at nights.
The question now begs if it works in mouse hunters' respective time zones around the world and what time band gives the best results. And if it is only the Lycans that are affected.

I caught my first lycan (with no map) at 1:22pm EST/EDT yesterday...and my second (with the map) at 11:06pm EST/EDT also yesterday. Both using moon cheese
My first lycan was caught on October 17 11:41pm. The second one was caught on October 18 2:10am. Both with the Moon cheese
It seems Ronza has taken off, I was just about to go get more moon cheese too.
