Description
The Onyx Mallet Trap represents the latest and greatest achievement in pulverizing technology. Unequaled in the making of such items as puree of mouse, mouse tartar and, the ever popular Mouse Paste, the Onyx Mallet is quickly becoming a favorite among those discerning individuals who insist on receiving their mice flat. Simply place the cheese below the mallet, set the arm to the ready position, and listen for the splat.
Note: This is a PERMANENT ADDITION to the game, even though it was released during the Birthday II Party event.

For a simple reason, people who missed R****, or joined after she went back (like me), would not be able to get it
I got it after sooo many tries at dojo sensei. It's worth it. ;)
So hard to get the onxy mallet blueprint ! Any tips my rank now is knight :(
@Liau:
Knights may really find it challenging if they did not get any good LE tactical trap.
The Onyx Mallet is a decent trap for those who want to skip Tribal Isles and Acolytes and Dragons, and go straight to the Iceberg when they hit Lord. (Yes, this is the new alternative route that a friend of mine has tried and proven to work.)
You should skip the Rhinobot and take the Onyx Mallet only if you take this new route (which is faster but slightly more boring).
If you plan to approach SG/ZT/ and FW/MM via the 'traditional' way, the Onyx Mallet is not recommended, as you can craft and then upgrade your Rhinobot too, which comes in handy especially when the physical mice get tough, e.g. in Derr.
That said, to save money, you COULD still get the Mallet and keep waiting for Ronza in hopes that she will bring a Enraged Rhino / Sentinel class devastating physical LE weapon, and play on with Iceberg (and then SG/ZT, all three of which don't require compulsory powerful physical weapons) in the meantime.
But returning to your original question, there really aren't significant tips on how to best get the blueprints other than patience.
I speak as someone who has almost 1000 MOJOs and 300 SOJOs, with 1300 OMG to spare at the moment. Trust me, patience is the virtue you're looking for.
There is a shortcut, though, that I used. The tip: USE your King's Credits for Furoma. Those tokens? Buy them. I spent about 200 Credits on those tokens so far to give me a boost, and they help significantly and are great value for money IMO.
Good luck and be patient. ;)
