Radioactive Blue Cheese

The Radioactive Blue Cheese is a specialised taste for the Shadow Mice and Forgotten Mice. Super Brie holds little or no interest for these mice families, so it's worthwhile farming a stash of RB. The Monster mouse, one of the Physical mice, also has a weakness for these. Must be a close cousin effect with the Lycan (ala frankenstein and werewolf). Just my theory.. How to get RB?
  1. Imbued from Radioactive Blue Potions, from Brie or Super Brie [best way]
  2. Some Mice also drop these (e.g. the Forgotten mice and a few others) [prolongs the game just a little]
Radioactive Blue can turn stale when left uneaten on traps for too long. Degrades to Radioactive Sludge.

Corrupted Radioactive Blue Potion

My Worst Day At Mousehunt Ever

I'm past the venting, but I thought that I should share the numbers of my worst day hunting at the Mousoleum. The idea is to encourage fellow hunters if you ever get a down day. It does happen, so perk up! First posted on the Tavern Discussion Board (minus the venting)..
Fri. Sep. 5, 2008 1:30am: A log of mice I've caught in the last 2 days 3 hours: 4 Zombie mice, 2 Ghost mice, 4 Mummy mice, 2 Vampire mice, and 4 Bat mice. Total points: 55,646 Total gold: 50,798 Hunted with Sinister Portal/target+stone+exp base/brie + radioactive brie.. Been switching stuff hoping to improve the numbers, but nah - just didn't seem to work. Lots of eaten cheese, stolen cheese, and plain ignored.
Mikko Sarmanne (Finland) wrote on Sep 4, 2008 at 1:24 PM
There is absolutely no point in using the target base in mousoleum. I was there for 4.5 days and used sinister/exp the whole time. The attraction rate was about 95%, so there is no need to try to improve it with the target base.. It's best to just keep the trap power at max, because the portals don't have any luck. The power is the only thing that will catch mice if you're using a portal. Here are some statistics that I collected about the earnings.. - 331 RB used - 114 red boxes (34.44%) - 387477 points of which 113689 (29.34%) was stolen - 370853 gold of which 51172 (13.80%) was stolen - average amounts stolen: 2145 points and 839 gold So I made 273788 points and 319681 gold with 331 pieces of RB, which is about 880 points and 965 gold per piece. Despite the massive stealing the earnings are way better than anywhere..
I've calculated that to be about 106,560 gold over 1.5 days in the normal report duration. That's actually still a little bit on the low side. Most others report a normal 1.5 day to gain closer to 120,000 gold, on a Forcefield/explosive base/RB trap. Happy hunting!

Cheese to Use in the Mousoleum

Radioactive brie is the most effective cheese for luring mice in the Mousoleum. To make radioactive brie, you need to get dropped potions from the mice in the Lab. Conversion: One potion converts 30 Super Brie to 30 Radioactive Blue, no cost One potion converts 5 Brie to 5 Radioactive Blue, but costs 300 gold per piece of cheese, so for one potion, 1500g [thanks Joanna] Normal Brie can be used but with poorer results.

The Town of Digby

Townsend Duong (Stanford) wrote on Jul 11, 2008 at 7:23 PM There's a new town in the Burroughs region called The Town of Digby. The entrance is the drill sticking up out of the ground near the maze outside the Laboratory. To go to Digby, you must first have the map piece to the Burroughs Laboratory. Go hunt in the Lab when you meet the requirements, and the Key to the Town of Digby will be found as loot when you catch some Dwarf mice in the Lab. As with the map Ninja, not all Lab Dwarf mice will give you the key as loot. You can catch the Dwarf with pretty much any cheese, but I'd recommend Brie. I ended up catching the one with the key using Radioactive Blue, however. Once you have found the key, you will be able to travel to Digby for free. You may travel between the towns of Digby and Gnawnia freely without any cost. It will cost 19500 gold once again to go back to the Laboratory. Digby currently has a trapsmith with the Stone base, the Mouse DeathBot, and 3 new traps: Sinister Portal, Ambrosial Portal, and Digby DrillBot. The cheese shoppe carries only Cheddar, which they sell for 20 gold but refund for only the standard 10 gold. A wide variety of mice are available for hunting in Digby, including the Gold and Diamond mice that were previously not to be found in the Burroughs region and the White/Grey/Brown mice that used to be found in the Lab.
