ANCIENT CHEESE:
Recipe #1 : This recipe makes 3 pieces of Ancient Cheese
3 x
Stale Cheese
6 x
Ionized Salt
Total cost per piece: Varied dependent on what your cheese you used to make stale cheese, but at a minimum 910pp - wow expensive stuff!
Cheese effect: These tender morsels spark with electric energy that bind together dust-like particles of stale cheese. Ancient cheese expels a strong stale scent and is extremely volatile.
Recipe #2: This recipe makes 6 pieces of Ancient Cheese
3 x Magic Essence
3 x Stale Cheese
6 x Ionized Salt

Has anybody yet discovered a particular USE for ancient cheese? Have people discovered a particular location or mouse in which/against which it is effective?
Am wondering the same thing exact thing =Z
lol, i tried it in the Pinnacle,
first check doesnt attract any mouse. XD
12:27pm tomorrow
I returned to check my trap, but it appeared my ancient cheese had failed to attract a mouse.
now I'm wondering what kind of stale cheese ancient cheese would make.. lol
Ancient cheese attracts mice in Catacombs almost ALL the time, but of course, it won't gurantee you a catch.
Don't really know either. But there are a few more hidden mouse images in the All Mice list.. I wonder if this cheese is for them..
Personally, I'd save the Ancients first, since the rest of the cheese work reasonably well everywhere for now..
Perhaps it is to attract a particularly powerful ancient mummy mouse in the catacombs?
add 3 Magic Essense to the recipe and you get 6 pieces instead of 3.
Thanks Mike, ;J
There also exists a runic cheese, whose recipe also involves stale cheese, i think.
RUNIC version 1:
This recipe makes ~~~ 1 piece of Runic ~~~
1 Stale
1 Rune
3 Ionized salt
Total cost per piece: Varied dependent on what cheese you used to make stale cheese, but at a minimum 1360pp and you have to collect Runes dropped by various mice in BristleWoods.
Cheese effect: Imbued with the darkness that consumes the Catacombs, this magical cheese strikes fear into the hearts of even the most powerful breeds of mice. Runic cheese appears faded, as if only barely laying within this plane of existence.
RUNIC version 2:
This recipe makes ~~~ 2 pieces of Runic ~~~
1 Magic Essence
1 Stale Cheese
1 Rune
3 Ionized Salt
Total cost per piece: Varied dependent on what cheese you used to make stale cheese and also what you paid for your SB+, but at a minimum 1360pp and you have to collect Runes dropped by various mice in BristleWoods ~ this is a tough one and not cheap either :D

I sounded the Hunter's Horn, but my ancient cheese failed to attract a mouse. I replaced my bait since it seemed to be stale.

Yes. Ancient is for forbidden grave after you get Keeper's Candle from the catacombs.

Ancient is also excellent in cats, not just for FG.
if you dont have any rb pots and dont want to hang aorund for days on end gettin them.
its twice the cost of rb potions, but works very well in cats.
cost - 900 each plus stale cheese but with every other mouse being about 4-5k you`ll still make plenty of money and easily make your money back in no time.
ancient potion is now available. it can convert 3 brie to 3 ancient cheese. cost is 1900pp..more expensive than crafting it
can you sell ancient cheese in the marketplace?
ancient cheese is liked by mice in Bristle woods
Actually, you can also obtain ancient cheese though ancient potions.
