Description

Unequaled in the making of such items as puree of mouse, mouse tartar and, the ever popular Mouse Paste, the Onyx Mallet is quickly becoming a favorite among those discerning individuals who insist on receiving their mice flat. Simply place the cheese below the mallet, set the arm to the ready position, and listen for the splat.

Note: This is a PERMANENT ADDITION to the game, even though it was released during the Birthday II Party event.

Trap Recipe - Ancient Box Trap

ANCIENT BOX TRAP
There's more than one reason why the Jungle of Dread earns it's name.

The obvious reasons are that it's hard and you'd need a strong Shadow Trap.

Then there's all the different Havarti cheese you'd need to make and bring there.

And of course, the choosy mice won't necessarily drop the piece of the Ancient Box Trap just because you caught them.

To help things on a little, I've included the trap recipe with a cheat sheet mapping to the Dread Mouse and the relevant Havarti Cheese. Hope this helps you - I was hunting with the wrong cheese at a few stages.

After you have gotten this trap, you're now strong enough to go to the Acolyte Realms to hunt down the Acolyte Mouse.

The heavy stone box teeters precariously upon the Ancient Relic Staff awaiting a mouse to pull the Ethereal Rope and cause the box to slam shut and magically fuse with the base. It is only this simple, long-forgotten trap that is capable of defeating the powerful Acolyte mouse.

A launcher rigged to fire an ancient spear of the Elub tribe. The glowing spear possesses magical homing properties that make for an incredibly accurate shot.

This trap is currently the strongest Hydro trap in the MH world. Compare this to the Limited Edition Kraken Chaos, which is luckier but gives more stales.

Don't be fooled by this edition of the DeathBot. Although it likes to dress up and party, it still poses a great threat to mousekind.

If you already own a DeathBot, it should appear as one of the things that you can use your Hammer on. You'd get the Deathbot Parts after smashing it. Then craft it together with the Party Hat.

Can't say that I'm overly pleased with the artwork, but I really can't knock it for the luck factor. I wonder if this beats the Drillbot in performance at the Lab. It would be a nice alternative if it is.

This highly unstable trap setup is held in a constant state of metamorphosis by the unpredictable power of the Onyx stone. This trap almost appears alive, growing metal roots into whatever base to which it is attached.
This trap's methods of capture are infinitely random. It can use its jagged metallic roots to impale mice, expel a thick and dark vapor that turns mice into stone, or bend space and time to erase the mouse from existence.
Scientists of Digby warn hunters that the power of the Onyx stone is incredibly dangerous and fear that using this trap could lead to the end of the world.

Aside from the guy jokes about the Obelisk of Slumber, you gotta admit that it looks cool..

Our first Arcane Trap sold at the Catacombs. Sets you back about 300k in gold.

Description: This trap is available for purchase in the Catacombs Trapsmith but if you accidently smash your trap with your crafting hammer only to realise that you don't as yet have all the ingredients needed to craft your Oblisk of Incineration, you can now re-craft the OoS :)

Journeyman beware! There is a high chance that you could FAIL crafting this base. That means you could lose all your ingredients. Master ranks have (so far) a perfect record in crafting the Dehy Base, so you might want to wait.

This peaceful setting for tea and a light snack appears to be the perfect spot for war-hardened mice to pause for some peaceful rest and meditation. Yet behind a thin paper wall lies a robot ambush of epic proportions! The loyal droids follow the will of their controlling hunter to either capture and exile mice or use their high speed reflexes for a heavy battle that is sure to erupt into various explosions and montages.

You might note that you'd require 5 crafting items to make this trap. This means that you have to be a Legendary to be able to SAFELY make the Ambush. MASTER SEAL: This recipe makes 1 Master Seal 1 x Master Fang Shard 1 x Master Claw Shard 1 x Master Belt Shard Total cost per piece: 0 Description: The masters of all three Furoma schools focus their power and knowledge by unifying their consciousness under a single seal. The result is an almost unstable magical force that can manifest itself into a morsel of cheese that far exceeds the power of the masters. Jester's Tip: You should only need to make the Master Seal ONCE. And it's used ONLY when crafting the Ambush Trap. Do NOT use this for the Rumble, because you will only make 1 piece.
