Turning Radioactive Blue stale is not as difficult as you think.
Even when hunting at the Catacombs or the Mousoleum, you're bound to make a Radioactive Sludge or more.
Not enough Radioactive Sludges when it's time to make your Horrific VMT?
Simply choose your trap combination with the worst cheese effect available to you (like Acronym + Explosive Base). Head on over to a fast and furious area where most/all the mice are not attracted to RB nor your trap type (Acronym/Arcane). This could be the Furoma areas or the Bristle Woods areas.
Remember to monitor it or you'd burn more RBs than you really want to - there's not much use for Sludges at this time, so no point farming more than what you need for making the traps.

Farming Stale Super Brie
Hail the RhinoBot. Unfortunately, one of the ingredients for this powerful physical trap is the Stale Super Brie.
For the more stoic hunters, they might actually find it hard to make Super Brie stale. That's because Super Brie cheeses are the well, creme la creme - the best attracting cheese for most mice, and the hardest to turn stale.
Well, except for these two locations:
Forbidden Grove and Acolyte Realms
Arm yourself with the Acronym and a stale effect base like the Explosive or the Aqua. Toss the Super Brie on it and watch it go grey-stale before your very eyes.
Be warned - do NOT leave your SB+ stash on the trap overnight - You literally harvest a Stale Super Brie with every blow of the Hunter's Horn. You only need 24 pieces for the RhinoBot, so it's going to be painful to overdo this.
Farming Stale Cheese
Stale Cheese is the main ingredient of Ancient Cheese.
There will be days which you have no choice but to rough it out and farm Stale Cheese.
This means that you will have to choose a trap combi that has a really bad Cheese Effect, put a piece of cheese on it, and camp out in a really rough part of town.
One suggestion is the Sinister Portal on the Explosive Base, and staying in the Lab or Mousoleum.
What kind of cheese to use? Well, if you're going to let it get stale anyway, choose the cheapest cheese.
If you already have access to the Catacombs, that's the White Cheddar for you (Curds&Whey @ 3pp, Catacombs + Salt @ 2pp, Harbour/Bazaar).
Otherwise, you're stuck with normal Cheddar @ 10pp, from Gnawnia.
