You finally made it to the
Cape Clawed, the first location in the Tribal Isles.
And possibly the friendliest. Well, until you landed, at least.
The 3 tribes of mice are represented here, but not all the mice are here.
If you are still getting your land-legs back, the minimum cheese you can use here is the swiss or brie, with the hydro trap. You'd want to earn enough gold to buy a good batch of Gouda cheese before hopping over to the other islands to hunt for the rest of the mice (that drop the key ingredients for the new cheeses).
You'd find yourself coming back to Cape Clawed often to stock up on more Gouda, or to make your new cheese, and finally upgrade your hydro/physical/tactical traps to really rock on the later locations.
[Jester's Tip] If you haven't reached here yet, you might want to stock up on
Salt (harbour | bazaar) and
Curds & Whey (catacombs) before coming in here. I mean really stock up - 3-5k pieces of each. All essential cheese on the Tribal Isles are crafted and those two ingredients are expensive here.
This small island was once attached to the mainland before a mighty storm washed away a massive piece of land. Members of the three tribes were then trapped where they were forced to work together to build a means of travel back to the mainland. Cape Clawed now acts as a meeting place where the elders of the tribes discuss diplomatic matters.
