No... not really... swiss does work! I sounded the Hunter's Horn. I was successful in my hunt! I caught a 2 oz. Frog mouse from the Calm Clearing worth 324 points and 402 gold.
Gnarled cheese is useless for now but you will need it in Lagoon where most of the mice there are attracted to gnarled cheese. So stock up your gnarled cheese before going lagoon!!!
The Frog Mouse is probably the first mouse you catch when entering the Calm Clearing.
No biggie. Hope you didn't spend more than Swiss Cheese..

Thought you might like to know that in the Gnarled Tree Region, this mouse did the following:
"The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 Gnarled Cheese Curd Potion."
"0/pc - One potion converts 24 Super Brie to 24 Gnarled.
400/pc - One potion converts 6 Brie to 6 Gnarled."
I'm giving it a go, and will let you know how it turns out. :)
Garled Cheese is useless, in my opinion. It's the same as using marble or swiss.
