Lagoon

Catch a little Fairy Mouse, Horn yourself a tune! Come down from your Gnarled Tree house, Head to the Lagoon!

If you've not yet caught a Troll Mouse, you have another challenge ahead. Now you need to catch a Hydra Mouse that would hopefully drop a special blueprint.
Long story short - Collect everything that is indicated on the blueprint, craft a ship, get on that ship to Rodentia..

Oh goody. I just became a grandmaster. Is it true that you can only use gnarled cheese in this area?

probably.. although the senior gamers have the luckier traps like Partybot and Snow Barrage, so they get by with weaker cheese..

=( Oh. I missed both events. I guess I'll just go back to the lab or something.

I'm a Legendary using Mouse Deathbot and the Dehydration base, and I haven't seen much difference between gnarled & brie here. I may have a slightly better attraction rate with gnarled, but not so significant that I want to spend that much more gold on gnarled from the potions.

I still haven't caught a Troll or Harpy mouse, but I've got the rest of the Whisker Woods mice (except a few like the Nibbler mouse which are everywhere, but hard to catch). I'm going to try Zugzwang's Last Move and see what happens.

ok, so usually i hate it when people post stuff like this, but i'm just so excited! caught her in my first hour of entering the great gnarled tree!

12:38am
I sounded the Hunter's Horn.
I was successful in my hunt! I caught a 7 oz. Fairy mouse from the Great Gnarled Tree worth 5,769 points and 937 gold.

The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 Map of the Lagoon.

I used the swiss army knife trap on explosive with brie.

If you're a Grandmaster (which obviously you are) the you first go to furoma, get the ambush trap, then come here. If you're above grandmaster, then get a more powerful tactical, hydro, physical, or arcane (shadow doesn't work as well) trap along with your luckiest base.
