The Clockapult of Time

If you're currently saving up for something, save up for the Clockapult of Time.

At 2,700,000 gold (gasp!) it's the most expensive trap available on direct sale. Buy it at the General Store at Cape Clawed.

And it's now the strongest Shadow Trap available, overshadowing (sorry, pun) the Bottomless Grave. Of course, the other unfortunate pun is Time - it's no walk in the Meadows to earn this amount..

Will you regret it? You tell me - I'm still saving up for it..

For now, I'm forgoing the RhinoBot since I'm one of the early players that managed the get the PartyBot from Ronza, way back then.

I'm still wondering what's the connection between the havarti cheese and the clockapult.. Maybe someone could tell a story with this.

[Thanks Oliver -  For the tip that the Bottomless Grave is good enough to survive the Jungle]
I've checked out the fight stats at furoma.com. The catch rate with the Grave is about 27% while the Clockapult gives about 36% success. So is the extra 9% worth the 1+ million in gold? you tell me :)

It looks like a high tension spring with a clock.

i did PERFECT without the clockapult, my bottomless grave did its job. im saving for ronza instead of a trap that i probably will only use for the jungle of dread!

I have to agree with Ryan.. I've used the Bottomless Grave and so far, I'm averaging about 6 havarti per mouse caught, consistant across all flavors..

I went with the Clockapult and Magma base to start hunting in the JoD. Results for the first run.

Attracted a mouse 4 times out of 5 hunts.
4 were eaten, 0 went stale and 0 were stolen.
Sweet Havarti:
Attracted a mouse 1 time out of 1 hunts.
1 were eaten, 0 went stale and 0 were stolen.
Crunchy Havarti:
Attracted a mouse 11 times out of 15 hunts.
11 were eaten, 1 went stale and 0 were stolen.
Creamy Havarti:
Attracted a mouse 8 times out of 10 hunts.
8 were eaten, 2 went stale and 0 were stolen.
Spicy Havarti:
Attracted a mouse 10 times out of 15 hunts.
10 were eaten, 2 went stale and 0 were stolen.
Pungent Havarti:
