am 2 pieces short for 2 weeks now. Been hunting in the Cata. for the whole time and no metal :-(

i have had steel mice drop scrap when using venus fly
i need another 27 because i spent 2 of them for obelisk of incineration . i spent 2 days and got 5

I checked my trap and found that I had caught a mouse! I caught a 14 oz. Hydra Mouse worth 9,640 points and 5,760 gold.
The mouse also dropped the following loot:
7 Scrap Metal and 2 Simple Orbs

actually, if u use a digby drillbot, the chances are higher. It worked for me.
I'm glad that steel mouse in the lab drop scrap metal. I got 10 in three days!

I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 11 oz. Hydra Mouse worth 9,640 points and 5,760 gold.
The mouse also dropped the following loot:
16 Splintered Wood, 7 Simple Orbs and 1 Ship Blueprints
Steel mouse at bazaar also drops them
acronym, with anhigh lick base (aqua or dragon jade) + ancient cheese in catacombs.
got 14 scrap in 36 hours or so
i used acronym, aqua base and ancient cheese and got 12 scrap metal at catacombs in 36 hours
