I think something is wrong with the Maki, I don't even get students who nibble it.
I agree. I've crafted about 30 maki and have had very little luck with attracting any of the students. Then again, it seems recently the students have become much more difficult to catch.
I've had the same problem as well. I think I attracted 1 mouse with the 20+ I had made. I have better luck with swiss or brie.
I have had the exact opposite, I put it on and i get:

I was successful in my hunt! I caught a 13 oz. Student of the Cheese Belt mouse from the Dojo worth 6,238 points and 463 gold.
The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 token of the cheese belt, Satchel of Gold worth 750 gold.
My weapon was very effective against this mouse.

one after another after another. Working at 100% atm lol.
what trap are u using? i think it might depend on that.. i havent had the best luck either
I too would be interested in finding out what your trap configuration was Andrew.
I've tried using Maki with both the ZLM and the Ambush. In both cases I had very little luck, and got ripped off a lot.
something wrong with the application izit? i facing great difficulty in catching student. I cannot imagine for master & Dojo.
The students just take our cheese!!!I need those but honestly, SB costs so much!!!I wanna try it out but i think it is no use...Maki so much!!!And, it attracts but if u cant catch whats the point?
I use ambush, the first go around was a little tough but I got a master seal. I only attract students, I recommend donating 1$ to get the +7 luck bonus :)
and also equip the dehy/ambush or MVMT.
You traps are too noob. Use traps like Dimensional Chest or Sphynx Wrath
or u can use horrific
