Holy crap! I just got a piece of coal!

"6:58am
I checked my trap and found that I had caught a mouse! I caught a 7 oz. Scavenger mouse from the Catacombs worth 3,369 points and 5,207 gold.

The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 coal.

My weapon was very effective against this mouse."

In the catacombs, using Oos/Polar/RB; I'm going to craft the Ooi, I'll report back with a comparison between it and the Oos.

Is it helped to create stale cheese which can be crafted to ancient cheese?

For those who havn't figured it out yet, the OoI is actually almost identical to the OoS. The obelisks are almost identical in percentage of capture *check pooflinger*, and it's a HUGE waste of money and resources. *This being scrap metals and gold* Just tough it out w/ the cooler-looking obelisk of slumber. :)

I just destroyed my OoI, bought a slumber bead, and re-crafted my OoS.

I was having good success with the OoS, and thought I'd give the OoI a try. I went on 28 hunts and only caught 6 mice! Half the time I didn't even attract a mouse. I am trying to get scrap metal to build the Acronym trap to go hunt in Whisker Woods (Because I can't afford the Venus Mouse Trap yet :( ), and I need the scrap metal.

With the new OoS, first hunt - caught a scavenger mouse and got some scrap metal. So IMHO, stick with the OoS - way better attraction and accuracy rates! (For me anyways).

Dont bother getting OoI. Both Obelisks are roughly equal in their ability to catch mice.(OoI & OoS) Incineration catches mice a bit more often, but since Slumber sees more mice in the same period of time, it balances out to both of them doing about equally in the Catacombs.

There’s just one snag, though- the Obelisk of Incineration blueprints cost 45,000! Now, that doesn’t mean a lot until you know the recipe to make it, so I’ll give it to you right now:

1 Obelisk of Incineration Blueprints + 1 Obelisk Parts + 1 Coal + 2 Scrap Metal + 3 Splintered wood = 1 Obelisk of Incineration

So first, there’s the fact that it uses 2 extra scrap metal when you’re already trying to save up 12 for the trap after it. If you think finding 12 will be hard, add on two more just for fun! That’s what you’re doing by using the scrap metal to make this new obelisk. Plus coal is an INCREDIBLY rare drop from Scavenger Mice, so you might not even be able to make it for quite some time anyway.

But most important- to get Obelisk Parts, you have to smash the Obelisk of Slumber. So in other words you have to pay for the Obelisk of Slumber AND THEN pay another 45,000 gold.

So just equip explosive base with OoS.So... Good luck then...
